Residential Property Lawyer, 12 month FTC, 4+ PQE - Surrey
We are currently working with a progressive, people-orientated, Top 200 law firm, who are looking to secure a Residential Property Lawyer for a contract of 12 months for their Surrey-based office. The contract is due to start imminently and will be to cover a period of maternity leave.

The successful candidate will join their highly successful residential property team and will handle their own caseload and have exposure to a broad mix of residential property transactions to include, but not limited to, High Net Worth transactions, town and country homes, leasehold flats, landed estates, new builds and conversions, acquisitions and disposals, re-mortgages and transfers of equity.
Whilst having autonomy, responsibility, and significant client contact, you will also have access to the Partners within the team - all of whom are supportive and nurturing in their approach.
Candidates are likely to have upwards of 4 years' PQE, have gained their experience from leading regional or city teams, and be available at short notice.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate:
- Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales
- Upwards of 4 years' PQE in handling a diverse range of residential property transactions
- Experience gained within leading regional or city teams
- A genuine interest in the residential property market and a passion for providing a superb level of service
- The ability to manage your own caseload from inception to completion
- Good organisational skills
- Excellent internal stakeholder and client handling skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- The ability to start a new role at short notice
Whilst the team are currently working remotely, when it is safe to do so, the intention will be to return to the office with a split from office and home working. The ability, and desire, to attend their Surrey office for a few days a week (when applicable), is a must.
