Tax Manager

We are working with a large City law firm keen to hire a Qualified Tax Professional to join their Finance team.

Following substantial growth over the last few years, this newly created role will see you reporting into the senior finance heads in London whilst working with International offices. As Tax Manager, you will lead on all tax reporting, and compliance for UK and non-UK entities including partnership tax computations, corporate tax and VAT compliance.

You will be required to; review and maintain tax records, manage and coordinate tax audits or VAT investigations, lead on international transfer pricing, intercompany accounts & invoicing, the preparation and submission of VAT returns in UK and international locations, preparation and submission of the LLP and corporate tax returns, review partners tax reserves, assist with annual audit process and preparation of financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow forecasting in relation to tax payments, statutory reporting and compliance procedures.

The client is prepared to consider both experienced managers and senior advisors looking to take their first steps into management. This opportunity will naturally suit a qualified Tax professional (ATT, ACA or CTA) with strong experience currently working for a Big Four accounting practice or large legal practice. You will have knowledge of tax regulations and tax management for large international companies as well as experience in dealing with HMRC reporting and external advisors/auditors.
