Your new role
A Legal Counsel position reporting into the nurturing Head of Legal in UK&I, as part of a small but highly respected and commercially involved legal function in Surrey. Working as a commercial generalist, you will negotiate and review the likes of supply, distribution, marketing and advertising agreements, while advising on data privacy, consumer (including B2C sales) and ad hoc intellectual property matters. The role will involve interfacing with varied internal teams, including sales, procurement and finance, providing sound and commercial advice on legal and commercial risk.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a UK or Commonwealth qualified lawyer with significant UK experience and at least 3 PQE (as a guide). The business welcomes applications for candidates trained in private practice or those who have had structured in-house training contracts. You will have demonstrable experience of dealing with varied commercial agreements and you will thrive in a generalist role. Excellent communication skills, integrity and strong technical ability are all key attributes required. You must be within commutable or driving distance of Surrey.
