Legal Counsel, ESG – Interim Assignment

This large global asset management house has a growing presence in Europe.  As the business continues to grow they are looking to expand the legal team and have a vacancy for an experienced lawyer to focus on Environmental, Social and Governance on an interim basis.  You will provide legal, regulatory and compliance advisory advice in respect of embedding sustainability into our client’s European products and distribution strategies, advisory offerings, investment decision–making processes, corporate governance and broader business operations. 

With a strong background in asset management and/or FS Regulatory you will be available to start quickly and be able to work autonomously and take responsibility for a number of projects from an early stage.  You will be a team player able to learn quickly and thrive in a fast moving, dynamic environment.  With previous exposure to sustainable finance, you will be passionate about this area and have the gravitas to engage with senior stakeholders on key points.

There is a strong likelihood that this will become a permanent headcount in due course.
