Our client is a leading litigation firm with a national network.

THE ROLE

For a Solicitor 5pqe+ to handle a defendant litigation in house on a permanent basis for one of the firm's clients.

You will be responsible for managing a varied and interesting workload, mainly defending public and employer's liability claims, particularly workplace, public sector and claims against the emergency services.

As a member of an established team you will manage a caseload of non-litigated and litigated claims including; property damage, false imprisonment, malicious prosecution, assault, employers liability and motor claims.

The work will involve; preparation and presentation of cases in Court, providing support; assisting in the preparation of witness statements, preparing witnesses for trial, attending conferences with counsel and attending trial and the presentation of cases in the Magistrates court

THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally have previous experience of defending litigated claims, although individuals with Claimant litigation experience may be considered.
