Junior Commercial Lawyer- Fast Growing Global Fund Manager
Our client is an international asset manager with over $25 billion under management, invested across global equities, fixed income, credit and hedge funds.
As a result of sustained business growth, they are looking to strengthen their close knit London legal team that currently consists of three lawyers further, with a junior hire.
The role will require the successful incumbent to be versatile and adaptable to work on a number of matters at any one time, but in particular will focus on:
- reviewing, negotiating and finalising commercial contracts and other legal documents;
- assisting with a wide range of legal and corporate governance matters, including group entity governance and management as well as maintaining necessary filings and registrations;
- assisting with improvement and implementation of good corporate governance practices, processes, procedures and policies including drafting related documentation;
- keeping up to date with applicable changes in law and regulation
Candidates sought should have gained strong commercial experience from either a law firm or in-house- financial services experience is not essential but would be helpful. They should be able to deliver timely legal advice and work independently and proactively, with excellent attention to detail
Compensation, comprising base salary and discretionary bonus will be attractive
