The group, ranked for excellence in L500 and Chambers has expanded quickly over the past 4 years and has achieved a strong presence as one of the small number of conflict-free teams able and willing to undertaking large scale and complex claims against banks and other financial services institutions. Clients come from a variety of areas including property investors and developers, investment funds/asset managers and other financial market participants.

Although an important part of our work is claims against banks, we deal with many other disputes relating to the financial markets. The team is a member of the Alternative Investment Managers Association, the Loan Market Association and the Financial Services Lawyers Association.

The ideal applicant will have experience in financial services work but we would also consider a general commercial litigator with some experience of this area but who can demonstrate a serious interest in specialising in the financial services fields in which we operate. The role is broad, very technical and of City quality, however the hours are very reasonable - c.1250.
