Internal Compliance Lawyer- Global Firm (North-East England)

A rare position has arisen for a junior-mid level lawyer in the North-East of England to join a leading international firm as an internal risk & compliance lawyer in which training and supervision (on conflicts and policy issues) will be provided. Working closely with Senior Management, Risk Counsel, and Heads of Compliance, the successful candidate will be considered as a trusted advisor to the firm and its multiples offices on a range of Conflicts, Terms of Engagement, Vendor Contracts, and Commercial issues. As such, applicants should be at least 1PQE at a leading law firm and a keen interest in moving into a non-fee earning advisory role. Those with either Conflicts or Commercial Contracts experience are of specific interest The firm offers an attractive remuneration package and regular working offices. Travel may also be required on an occasion particularly to the firm's London office.
