Legal Counsel NQ - 3 years PQE 6 month FTC

Excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer (NQ – 3 years) to join a leading in-house organisation on a FTC basis commencing in August or September for a minimum period of 6 months.  This position can be office based in the East Midlands or remote from home.

NQ – 3 PQE lawyer sought for in-house organisation on a 6 month (minimum) basis commencing in August or September.  This position can be office based in the East Midlands or remote from home.

Reporting into the Senior Legal Counsel and forming part of a legal team, you undertake a broad business facing role with an emphasis on advising on, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.  You will get involved in a full range of legal areas from IP, data protection, disputes and governance.   Examples of the type of work and projects you will be involved in include:

•  advising on, drafting and negotiating a range of commercial contracts and arrangements which touch upon all aspects of the business ranging from purchasing agreements, supply agreements, sponsorship agreements, technology and intellectual property agreements and data protection issues.
• advising on IP matters and R&D related projects ensuring that the company’s IP is protected.
• advising on commercial agreements relating to international collaborations and projects. 
• providing advice to colleagues in relation to ad-hoc legal advice and queries.

The legal team work very flexibly so there is an opportunity to be office based in the East Midlands HQ or to work from home fully or for part of the working week.
