** Banking Associate or Senior Associate, Top City Firm **

Our client is one of the leading global law firms currently looking to recruit an Associate or Senior Associate into its Acquisition and Leveraged Finance practice. The practice advises both lenders and borrowers (including financial sponsors) on the financing of domestic and cross-border acquisitions, particularly leveraged acquisitions. Typical transactions would take the form of private equity sponsored management buy-outs, corporate acquisitions and public bids as well as refinancings and recapitalisations. The team regularly acts for direct lending funds as well as banks and has been at the forefront of the market in advising on structures such as unitranche and first out/last out.
 
Experience gained within a top tier firm is preferred.  It is essential that the candidate has a strong academic background  with excellent written communication and drafting skills. The successful candidate will also have outstanding technical skills in acquisition and leveraged finance, together with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues and work well in a team. The ideal candidate will have between three to eight years post qualification experience (or equivalent experience).
