Our client is a global entertainment business. Following its highly successful pivot to direct to consumer with the launch of its SVOD streaming service, it is rapidly expanding its capacity to develop, commission and produce a significant volume of scripted (and other) content.

An unparalleled opportunity exists for a highly experienced media lawyer to join the business and lead a team of production lawyers across EMEA, LatAm and APAC.

This is a highly strategic role. You will work closely with colleagues in Production, Development and Business Affairs, always ensuring that deal structures work to the optimal benefit of the business.

You will have significant experience of all legal aspects of television commissioning and production in the UK and the EU. A deep understanding of the investment quota regimes for SVOD services across the EU and the typical requirements of those regimes will be important, as will familiarity with tax credits and typical financing arrangements in multiple countries.
