BUSINESS AFFAIRS MANAGER- MULTINATIONAL MEDIA AGENCY

PART-TIME 2 OR 3 DAYS/WEEK

A renowned multinational media agency is looking for a part-time Business Affairs/Contracts Manager to join their content marketing team. The role will be London/home based and the successful applicant will be required to work two or three days a week.

THE ROLE:

As a Business Affairs Manager you will report to the Head of Partnerships and will support the organisation's content marketing service. The Business Affairs Manager will be responsible for:

• Reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts such as media partnerships and sponsorships
• Managing and mitigating risks associated with media partnerships
• Ensuring necessary content usage rights are acquired and maintained
• Assessing risk associated with media contracts and drive to resolution in a timely manner
• Managing a large volume of correspondence and contracts and prioriitise appropriately
• Conducting initial reviews of content to identify top line issues relating to compliance with advertising and IP rights as required
• Escalating contractual risks to decision makers for review and approval
• Working closely with the group legal team

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT:

This organisation is looking for a commercially minded individual with strong experience of dealing with contracts and excellent negotiation skills. Further to this, in order to be successful in this role you will ideally:

• Have 3 years+ experience of reviewing and negotiating contracts
• Possess a strong understanding of advertising regulations particularly around content creation
• Be able to understand key aspects of client agreements
• Have excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Be confident in negotiation style with ability to represent both the client and media agency in contractual matters
• Be able to multi-task and prioritise own work-load
