Corporate Associate, 2-5 PQE, International firm - London

Our client, a fast-growing and ambitious international law, has a client base which spans a range of household name clients operating across a variety of sectors. The firm's team-oriented culture defines the firm - they hire for cultural fit based on it.

The firm has a well-established and growing London office, and their ranked London corporate team has been identified as an area of strategic growth. Due to a busy and increasing workload, they are now looking for at least one additional mid-level Corporate Associate.

In this role you'll be exposed to a range of high quality work from a range of household name clients operating across a variety of sectors, including global technology businesses, high street retailers and across the public sector. The work will be predominantly private company M&A, Joint Ventures, restructuring, and some Private Equity.

In order to be considered, you will have:

• Strong academics;
• Training and probably between 2 and 5 years' post-qualification experience gained from within the corporate department of a City, international, or market-leading regional law firm;
• Post-qualification experience of domestic and cross-border M&A, private equity and joint ventures is required, and while prior exposure to ECM work is a distinct advantage, it's not a must-have.
• Excellent drafting skills and first rate technical knowledge; and
• Strong personal skills including excellent communication and strong problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain enthusiasm, motivation and commitment to building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
