With an unparalleled range of programming, it has aired hundreds of hours of programming on television in the past year alone. People are at the heart of everything it does.

Reporting to the Head of Legal Business Affairs, an exciting opportunity is available for a media lawyer to join the team as a Legal Business Affair Executive.

Your Role:

*Drafting and negotiating all forms of development, production and underlying rights agreements such as presenter, contributor, location, footage and other underlying rightsformat acquisition contracts.

*Assisting in the negotiation of commissioning agreements with broadcasters and other content distributors.

*Liaising with the Rights Department to provide information to the Company's Licensing and Distribution divisions.

*Providing legal advice on programme content and compliance.

*Dispute management.

The ideal applicant will be a lawyer with relevant experience in entertainment and media law. Ideally, you will have working knowledge of the UK television sector, broadcaster terms of trade and current issues affecting the industry.
