About Us
This organisation is a leader in its space and is very much at the forefront of innovation, technology transfers and investing in science and early stage drugs in order to make an impact on fighting disease. The focus is truly on improving the lives of patients and making a long-term difference to medical treatment and healthcare.
The Opportunity
An additional lawyer is currently required needed for the UK legal team to provide dedicated legal support to the business, with particular responsibility for both day-to-day and more complex commercial agreements and IP.
In addition, you will also provide licensing support in the exploitation of research assets and technology transfer clients. You will support the business on a wide range of matters specifically focusing on the research, development and commercialisation of new and ongoing research.
About You
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercial lawyer to join an innovative, forward-thinking non-profit organisation in a key role for at least 6 months. The ideal candidate will have some life science experience, knowledge of how to commercialise IP as well as corporate spin outs and licensing of assets within a life sciences context, although a general commercial background with knowledge of the life sciences sector will also suit.
