About Us

This leading healthcare and consumer products business is a multi-faceted organisation, responsible for manufacturing, supplying and distributing many of the healthcare and pharmaceutical products we use in our daily lives as well as products and services relating to personalised healthcare and diagnostics.

The Opportunity

The business is playing an integral part in supplying products which are in particular demand at present and now needs to appoint an additional commercial lawyer to provided dedicated legal support to its wholesale business. The role will provide day-to-day advice, serving as lead counsel on new deals and business models as well as resolving issues which arise in existing commercial relationships. You will draft and negotiate key supply chain and distribution agreements as well as manage risk for the business, at all levels.

As part of a small but well-integrated legal team, you will have direct exposure to senior management from day one.

What We Need

You will need a general commercial contracts background ideally gained in-house, although commercial experience in private practice would also be considered. Procurement and supply contracts experience is also key, as is any experience in the healthcare industry or in the manufacturing, supply and distribution of goods. Strong interpersonal skills, a commercial approach and can-do attitude are all key. Excellent communication skills and the ability to navigate sensitively through highly complex matters are also essential. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-known healthcare business in a key role for the business.
