Our client is a forward-thinking and expanding national law firm who are seeking an ambitious Senior Associate to join their award-winning and growing Construction practice in Leeds.
The team advise their high-profile public sector clients, including Local Authorities, NHS Trusts, Housing Associations, together with top private sector clients on complex construction related matters. The work is very high level and high value.
The construction dispute matters range from traditional final account/loss and expense type claims, to significant defect issues and PFI/projects disputes.
The non-contentious matters include high value, complex instructions including developers, contractors, end-user clients, central and local government, NHS Trusts and housing associations.
This is a genuinely nice firm with a lovely culture and a genuine social and corporate responsibility and diversity and equality ethos, whilst also having ambitious plans for future growth at all levels. Career prospects are excellent for the right candidates.
You will be a Construction Solicitor with c.6+ years' post qualification experience, either contentious, non-contentious or a mix of both. You should be a good team player and leader, a creative thinker with drive and energy who enjoys working with clients. You will be technically able and have extensive knowledge of construction law, together with excellent drafting and legal analysis skills.
The role can be either full-time or part-time and there will also be an opportunity for charity and pro bono work.
This is a great opportunity for a Senior Associate to join the firm as a Legal Director, with excellent future promotion prospects.
