Competition Litigation (0-4 PQE) – Earn a New York Salary and Work on Headline Making Matters
We are working closely with the Competition Litigation team in this elite US firm in London on a drive to recruit additional Associates.
The firm is recognised in the UK and global market as one of the leaders in dispute resolution and has increased its profile in Competition arena having advised on some of the largest cases in the UK courts.
It is also one of the few to pay its London Associates at full New York-rates, which are the highest on offer to any junior lawyer in the City.
The Competition Litigation team focuses on high-stakes proceedings in the English High Court and Competition Appeal Tribunal. In addition, the team advises defendants on large-scale Competition and Antitrust investigations.
Due to the level of work coming in to the team, the Partners are keen to hear from candidates at junior-mid level, and are open to considering Associates from around 0-4 PQE.
Candidates with mixed non-contentious and contentious Competition experience will be of interest, provided that they have a solid grounding in disputes matters and are keen to specialise in this area.
The experience on offer in the department is almost unrivalled in the market, given that there is a high level of hands-on responsibility in what is comparatively (against firms doing a similar level of work) a small team directly under some of the biggest names in the international dispute resolution sector.
Candidates should have trained and qualified at their current firm, and will have the ambition to progress their career at one of the most prestigious teams in the City.
