Senior Childcare Associate - 7 PQE+, Greater London

Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Childcare Associate (6-7 PQE+) to join the team. The successful individual will be expected to run their own caseload therefore extensive knowledge and experience of Children Act proceedings is essential to this role.

This role has flexibility on location and home-working.
This opportunity might appeal to an individual who is currently advising on public family matters but is looking to transition to more privately funded work. This firm are recognised for its friendly and collegiate culture where the partners encourage an open-door ethos.
The ideal individual will have a minimum of 6-7 years’ experience and hold an accreditation, or be working towards, the Law Society Children Panel or Resolution Specialist Accreditation. There will be an opportunity to manage and supervise more junior members of the team as it expands over time.
Any experience of conducting individual advocacy in the Family Court would be particularly helpful. An enthusiasm and energy for BD related activity is an advantage.
The family team has full legal/secretarial support and you will be joining a busy and growing department with ambition to keep growing in the future.
You will be a senior, ambitious, and technically competent solicitor with solid client-facing skills which will be important as this role offers client-contact from day one. You will need outstanding advocacy skills and be confident in handling your own caseload. Good time management and diary scheduling is key to the role.
