Job Details
Our client is a renowned global law firm, with a particularly strong reputation for the services they provide to the insurance sectors. They are currently looking to source an insurance disputes lawyer for a 6 month contract. This contract will service their London team, but can be carried out remotely from home.
The team are insurance and reinsurance specialists with experience in the professional indemnity, financial institutions, D&O, El, PL, product liability, property and business interruption and cyber/data protection sectors.
The successful candidate can expect to join a well-established team and work alongside notable Partners and Associates within the market. A high level of responsibility and autonomy will be afforded to the successful individual.
Candidates are likely to have a strong Insurance Disputes background, with particular experience in insurance coverage matters, and possess upwards of 3 years' PQE obtained from International, City or top tier national teams.
Due to the urgent nature of this contract, candidates should ideally be available immediately or at short notice.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate:
- Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales, or another commonwealth jurisdiction (such as Australia, or New Zealand, for example).
- Possess upwards of 3 years' PQE in handling a diverse range of insurance disputes, particularly relating to insurance coverage.
- Have obtained their experience within International, City or Top Tier National teams.
- A client-centric ethos and strong attention to detail.
- The ability to work well within a team as well as autonomously.
- The readiness to start a 6 month contract at short notice or immediately.
