Real Estate Solicitor

The firm's national Real Estate team provide a complete range of legal and advisory services on all aspects of commercial property and this role will be based in the Housing Team primarily acting for private registered providers of social housing, local authorities, charities and faith based organisations.

Daily work in this role will be varied and will include:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating leases, renewal leases, licences and other estate management documents.
• Drafting and reviewing occupancy agreements and policies and procedures.
• Advice on compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements in a landlord and tenant context, including assisting clients in resolving breaches and dealing with the Regulator of Social Housing.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating management and service level agreements.
• Advising on all aspects of rent and service charges, including implementation of reviews and Tribunal cases (covering service charge challenges and dispensation applications).
• Supervising junior members of the team.

About the Real Estate Solicitor

• Given the nature of the work, you will be an experienced 3 years as a minimum.
• As a guide, 3 years' experience in Real Estate matters gained at a reputable firm during your training contract.
• You will have housing management experience and a strong understanding of property law.
• You will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail and due to the large volume of work you must be proficient at working in an organised and efficient manner.
• You will have sound drafting and negotiating skills and will thrive when problem solving.
