RARE COMMERCIAL ARBITRATION SENIOR ROLE 5-7pqe TOP CITY FIRM

Our client has a superb reputation for their International Arbitration practice. As part of a continued growth plan and pipeline of work, they seek to hire a talented senior associate at c.5-7pqe to join the well supported and well geared team. The work on offer is high profile and focuses on complex, high-value international business disputes. They represent leading businesses in a variety of sectors including energy and natural resources, Telecoms and Technology, consumer, life sciences, automotive and projects and infrastructure

This role is focussed on commercial arbritration, however the team handle both commercial ICC and investment treaty work acting for investors, States and international organisations in international disputes, including arbitrations under ICSID, ICC, LCIA and UNCITRAL rules and in proceedings before the Court of Justice of the European Union. They advise investors on structuring investments worldwide as well as States and international organisations on public international law and EU law.

To be considered for this role experience gained within a top tier firm is preferred. It is essential that the candidate has a strong academic background (minimum 2.1 degree) with excellent written communication and drafting skills. The successful candidate will also have outstanding technical skills in relation to arbitration procedure and contract disputes governed by English law, together with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues and work well in a team. The ideal candidate will have between five to seven years post qualification experience (or equivalent experience). There is an excellent longer term career progression track through to partnership making this an ideal role for a senior associate looking to push their career along. Remuneration close to Magic Circle.
