Solicitor - Head of Corporate

UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY - HEAD OF CORPORATE – CENTRAL LONDON

A unique opportunity has arisen at our Central London based client for an experienced corporate solicitor.

The long established firm with offices both regionally and in the Capital, are ranked in the major independent legal directories in several categories, offering a full range of legal services to include; corporate law; litigation; commercial real estate; private wealth; immigration; and employment law.  Clients range from high net worth individuals, SME’s and large corporations.

The corporate team are now looking for an experienced lawyer to head their London offering.  

As the suitable candidate for this role, you should be experienced in a range of corporate matters, including, but not limited to; M&A; joint ventures & collaborations; private equity; and corporate governance.  Experience in corporate finance would also be an advantage.  You should also have experience of supervising junior lawyers and managing teams.

Please note that whilst this is a head of department role and a senior position within the firm, our client does not expect a huge following of clients as there are existing clients to service.  What is expected is a proven background of business development success and a track record of building and winning client business.
