CONTENTIOUS CONSTRUCTION (SENIOR ASSOCIATE), 5+ YEARS’ PQE, MANCHESTER, TO £80K PLUS BENEFITS

The Role

• You will be expected to advise on all sectors of the industry including but not limited to, engineering, energy, infrastructure, buildings – across both public and private sectors. 
• You will also be working across the practice with the Banking, Projects and Real Estate teams. 
• You will be advising on all aspects of construction from procurement, due diligence, dispute management to costs and litigation finance. 
• The team has instructed on global schemes from landmarks in the UK to major projects in other parts of the world such as Africa, Asia and America.

About You 

• You will have an excellent academic record achieving a minimum 2:1 at Undergraduate level.
• You will have at least 5 years’ previous experience in construction law achieved at a City, regional or national firm. 
• You will be a proactive team player and be able to support complex transactions, liaising and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
