In-House Legal Director, Head of Team - East Midlands (flexible working including majority WFH)

Leading alternative funding provider seeks to appoint a Legal Director to head its in-house Legal team. 

Providing bespoke funding solutions for UK SMEs the business is fast paced and ambitious and the legal team is growing. 

The role will involve working closely with the CFO and Head of Borrower Services as well as having supervisory responsibility for a team of 3 lawyers. In addition to liaising with internal stakeholders the successful individual will also take a lead with external legal advisors. 

The ideal candidate is likely to have in excess of 12 years pqe and will have proven expertise in transactional and / or corporate banking work and in particular, familiarity with the use of LMA standard loan and security documentation. 

A strong commercial approach and 'can do' attitude is essential and previous in-house experience would be desirable.
