Duty Solicitor/Higher Rights Advocate 3+ PQE, Bedfordshire, £40,000 to £50,000 (DOE) plus extensive benefits. The successful solicitor will manage their own criminal caseload. Ideally you will be both Duty status and a Higher Rights Advocate, however the firm will consider those with one or the other. You will need excellent time management, communication and organisational skills, proficiency in IT and have a polite and patient manner. DUTY SOLICITOR/HIGHER RIGHTS ADVOCATE:
This well established and forward thinking law firm, with a strong presence in the region, have an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious and hardworking Solicitor to be part of this busy and expanding criminal team. You will undertake fee earning work for clients in the field of criminal law and deal with all aspects of criminal work, representing clients at the police station. Work in accordance with the office manual and promote the firm in all areas at all times. Act at all times in an appropriate way as a member of the legal profession and to comply with all professional requirements as set by the Law Society. To promote the increase of the work inflow for self and others through reputation and personal contacts. Have a sound knowledge of criminal law and to undertake appropriate continuing education to update and retain that knowledge. Great opportunity for a talented Criminal Solicitor.
