This is a unique opportunity to join one of the country's leading NHS bodies as a Team Leader for the Trust.

The Body

The body has a history dating over 800 years and are regularly at the forefront of medical innovation, and have a reputation for clinical excellence.

They are well-known for their specialist services for both the local community and Nationwide, covering cancer, kidney, cardiac, back and women's treatments.

The Role

The Legal Team Leader position is a management role as well as a subject matter expert role with the broader Trust.
There are 4 members of the team currently, and you will oversee these employees.

You will combine expertise on this subject matter and use your management skills to develop and maintain service delivery.

This includes providing healthcare legal advice to the Trust and its committees and to individuals or groups of staff.

Must have experience:

  • Medical claims
  • Inquests
  • Court of Protection
  • Provision of ad-hoc advice to hospital/clinical areas
  • Qualified Solicitor of England & Wales 5+ PQE
  • Experience of appearing in court and representing clients in contentious matters
  • Knowledge of the NHS and interrelated systems
  • Educated to Masters level or equivalent

Remuneration

- This is a band 8C role and pays between £63,750 and £73,600
