The Role

Corporate Lawyer to join Top 100, Legal 500 & Chambers-ranked team in Bristol

Corporate transactions, including corporate acquisitions and disposals, management buy-outs/ins and private equity and venture capital investments, are the team's lifeblood.

You will be consulting with large listed and unlisted companies, PE/VC backed companies, mid-market PE investors, venture capital firms, ambitious management teams and founder shareholders on their strategically important transactions.

Joining the team with up to 5 years PQE, you will manage matters that consider M&A, private equity and public equity transactions for listed corporates, more often divided between strategic advice and lead negotiations, key documents, ancillary documents and due diligence.

Working closely with the Partner, at the beating heart of os the team, you will be challenged, exceeding your expectations on what you can achieve.

Taking pride in what you do, offering deep legal insight and working in collaboration with the team. You will experience structured progression from day 1, be it in your aspirations for future leadership and development of expertise

The Requirements

  • 2+ years PQE experience within any area of Corporate law
  • Drive to succeed and utilise opportunities for continued progression
  • Independently engaging with current and future clients with a commercial perspective.
  • Working collaboratively with a national team, often on your own and team projects
