Job Details
Our client is a very highly respected UK firm. They are currently seeking to recruit a banking litigation lawyer to join their team in the Manchester office.
The banking litigation department is Chambers & Partners and L500 rated so this could be a great career move for you. The team act for a range of clients but these include major high street banks and building societies as well as international clients.
You will be dealing with a wide range of work including banking and insolvency litigation, fraud and advice on payment protection insurance. You will ideally need to have at least one years' post qualification experience in banking litigation with a large regional, national or international law firm. Newly qualified will be considered as long as you have had the relevant financial experience in contentious matters. You will ideally need to have experience of dealing with high value transactions, be comfortable dealing directly with clients and have excellent analytical and drafting skills.
