Private Client lawyer NQ – 1 & 2+ years’ PQE CAMBRIDGESHIRE

As part of their programme of expansion, our client, a private practice law firm in Cambridgeshire, is looking to add two lawyers to the specialist Trust and Tax team in their busy Private Client department – one of 0 to 1 and the other of 2 or more years’ PQE. The successful candidates will handle a full caseload of private client work including Wills, administration of estates, powers of attorney and Court of Protection matters but with particular emphasis on tax planning and trusts for HNW individuals.  They will have proven technical ability in the field of capital taxation and trusts and the enthusiasm and ability to contribute to the continued expansion of the successful trust and tax team at this firm. You will also be expected to be actively involved in the business development and marketing activities of the department, which may include speaking at seminars and other events as they arise and should therefore be comfortable with public speaking. It would be of benefit if uou were either a member of STEP, or willing to become a member. If you already qualified, you will specialise in Private Client Tax & Trusts and if you are newly qualified you will have undertaken a seat in Private Client law.
