THE ORGANISATION
A high profile charity based in London.
THE ROLE
An in house role for a lawyer to provide legal advice on a variety of contracts and commercial work as maternity cover for 9-12 months.
Reporting to a Senior Legal Counsel, you will advise on a diverse range of matters including contracts, data protection, information security, fund raising, membership, major events, intellectual property and trade marks.
You will provide advice to the whole charity on issues affecting its activities.
This will include:
Protection of its brands and intellectual property and liaison with external trade mark attorneys.
Drafting, negotiating, reviewing, updating and creating amendments to various contracts, with an emphasis on procurement matters.
Supporting the business in its compliance with Information Security legislation and Data Protection.
ABOUT YOU
Ideally with an in house legal background, and available from June 2021 for an interim role, you will be a commercial lawyer with strong intellectual property experience, looking to join a collegial and friendly team.
