Job Details

Our client is looking for a Commercial Solicitor to join their busy in-house legal team. At the moment employees are largely still working remotely but moving forward the client hopes to have a minimum 2 / 3 days in the Bristol office and the rest home based.

The candidate:

  • Be experienced in Commercial Contracts including, but not limited to, (Customer, Supplier and Third Party), Non-Disclosure Agreements, Asset and Share Purchase Agreements,
  • Be able to assist and help the department on a wide range of other legal matters including Data Protection and Intellectual Property risk alongside, Information Technology and Mergers and Acquisitions,
  • Be a qualified solicitor with who has gained good training and post qualified experience at a law firm with a good reputation
  • Be between 1 - 4 years PQE
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commercial / business outlook to their work
In-house experience would be desirable, but the client would consider a private practice lawyer looking to move in-house who could point to good business and commercial skills.

Our client envisages that candidates with between 1 to 4 years PQE will have the relevant skills / knowledge for this position, however this has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this PQE range but who have the relevant experience.
