Douglas Scott are supporting a UK plc in the search for a Commercial Solicitor to join their existing in-house legal team.

Reporting into the Legal Director this a fantastic opportunity for a commercial solicitor to get large scale exposure to an excellent mix of in-house legal matters, and development opportunities specific to a UK plc.

The successful candidate will enjoy a fantastic, broad in-house role which will offer consistent variety and challenge. The team supports all areas of the Group including UK, International, Marketing, IT, HR, Procurement, Company Secretarial, and the Senior Leadership team / Board. For ambitious Commercial Solicitors who are seeking an in-house role where they will truly have exposure to the wider business, this is a perfect fit. You will be working for a well known brand and have multiple opportunities to act on innovative projects on an International scale.

Applications are invited from UK Qualified Solicitors from 1-5 years PQE. You will have demonstrable experience of commercial contract drafting (to include supplier, agency, licensing, distribution etc) , IP work in the form of brands/trademarks, and some data protection. Experience of International operations will be beneficial but not essential. You'll form a small team with the Legal Director who has an excellent track record of people development.
