Principal Solicitor/Lawyer (Property and Projects - to undertake a broad range of complex property based legal work and to manage the Property legal team)
Up to £63,845 Full time including Leased Car/Car Allowance, depending on skills and experience. PLUS generous tax-free Relocation Allowance, if applicable

Our strong in-house Legal Service requires an experienced Property lawyer, to manage and personally undertake a complex and varied caseload with particular emphasis on legal advice and legal work related to (a) all types of land, commercial property transactions, joint ventures and housing law (b) a wide range of projects involving housing, the provision of leisure or other community facilities (including the creation of companies, charities and trusts and advising on the governance of those companies, charities and trusts) and to manage, develop and mentor the Property legal team.
We are keen to hear from you if you are a proficient, pro-active and responsive lawyer with strong, positive communication and influencing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to achieve the best practical outcomes for the Council and the public we serve.
You will have strong recent post-qualification experience (ideally, some within a local government environment) in the above and/or similar areas of work.
