The Client
Our client is a top international law firm with a recently established Dublin office which seeks to build its capital markets and funds capability in the local market. The decision to open its doors in Dublin are due to the need to have an additional strategic base in a main European jurisdiction as well as a desire to target high value work in the Irish market.
As one of the world's most prominent financial services law firms, they have built long-standing client relationships with global financial institutions, funds, Fortune 500 companies, leading corporations, family offices and UHNW/HNW private clients.
The Opportunity
The search for lateral partners and teams of high calibre lawyers is now underway. Those currently with the top tier of Irish law firms with market reputation and experience of debt and equity capital markets and fund formation are sought. Expertise should include DCM and structured finance including Eurobond issuances, CLO’s and cross-border securitisations. On the ECM side securities offerings capital raisings and IPO’S. initial public offerings secondary issues of shares with experience of London, Irish and New York Stock Exchanges and other international markets.
The Candidate
Candidates sought are likely to be with top tier international law firms in Dublin, London, New York and possibly other major financial centres. Those seeking to relocate to Dublin are welcome and partners seeking to move with their core team can be accommodated. In addition to your high level skill-set you will also have a track record of building your own client relationships and networks outside those of your current firms’ institutional clients and be confident that you will have an impact on the profitability and growth of the capital markets team.
