There are countless job adverts out there for corporate lawyers. I think I can safely say to those in good roles that you know that there would always be a chance to move. So why do so?

As ever I can tell you about the calibre of the firm and the quality of the work but chances are you are probably already getting that. As such there probably has to be more profound reasons for your looking to move.

I'd wager its not salary - you're probably being reasonably looked after though salary is not an area where this firm has struggled and continues to evaluate in light of ongoing changes in the working landscape.

Chances are it may be smaller frustrations and it may be that they aren't enough to compel a change. Maybe though they have festered too long or you're curious as to whether those things can be addressed - it could be support, scope for progression, client contact - any number of reasons.

It could be those reasons that prove the catalyst for change. Right now maybe you're busy enough and there is no need to address them. That is fine but maybe the grass could be greener and we'd welcome the chance to talk that through (of course we would).
