THE ROLE

A vacancy for a property litigation solicitor has arisen due to increasing work levels.

The role will include exposure to highly topical fire safety related issues for a large fund as well as a range of other work, both commercial and residential real estate litigation.

Clients include commercial landlords and some tenants, developers, ground rent and other residential landlords, social housing organisations

ABOUT YOU

With 1-3pqe, good academics and training your experience should include a range of residential and commercial matters such as:


Residential and commercial landlord and tenant including rent recovery and forfeiture

Service charge matters including S.20 and related tribunal proceedings

Fire safety issues (repairing and other obligations, fire safety legislation, service charge issues)

Enforcement of easements, restrictive covenants and rights of light;

Commercial tenant insolvency

Disrepair and dilapidations

1954 Act renewals (contested and uncontested)

Adverse possession and squatters

Anti-social behaviour

Enfranchisement/lease extensions
