INVESTMENT FUNDS /CORPORATE LAWYER 8+ PQE

This major offshore law firm has developed an award winning funds practice which continues to receive excellent instructions globally. As a result, a senior common law qualified funds or corporate lawyer with at least 8 years of private practice experience is sought. The main focus of the role will be on fund formation, which will involve advice on fund structuring, preparing fund documentation, negotiating fund documentation with investors, and co-ordinating fund closings when applicable and developing and expanding the business.

You will have the opportunity to work with a range of fund clients from leading asset managers and fund promoters to start-up ventures. Their investor clients include sophisticated investors of all types, including leading financial institutions, sovereign wealth funds, family offices and pension funds.

The successful candidate will have a strong academic background with relevant funds experience gained at a top tier UK, Australian, New Zealand or US law firm recognised for its funds practice.
