Professional Indemnity Solicitor
Top 50 Law Firm

I am working with an award-winning Top 50 national practice in Birmingham city centre who are looking for a junior Solicitor with experience in professional indemnity work or general commercial litigation work to join their highly rated professional indemnity team.

The firm consistently, year on year top the charts in terms of not only being one of the best places to work in private practice but also in terms of the breadth and quality of their work and clients.

They are ideally looking for a Solicitor (0-3yrs PQE) with excellent academics and technical skills, with an excellent grasp of professional indemnity work, or general professional negligence work. The right candidate will likely have come from a large national, regional or specialist boutique practice, so they are familiar with the level and quality of work.

In Birmingham the team act for a broad range of professionals including accountants, construction professionals, solicitors, and businesses (with a particular strength in the tech sector) on a host of professional negligence matters of significant complexity.

Culture is really important here with wellbeing and inclusion being at the forefront of everything the firm does. They have been listed in The Sunday Times Best 100 Firms to work for for 16 years running, they have proactively support and promote BAME, LGBT+, Disabled staff within the business. They are completely transparent when it comes to issues such as the gender pay gap as an example, and one of only a small selection of larger firms with a female Managing Partner.

The firm is highly competitive on salary based on experience, and doesn't scrimp on benefits either with standard ones such as 25 days holiday (+bank holidays), generous pension scheme, life assurance etc, but also key extras such as enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption pay, extra days leave for weddings/civil ceremonies, religious holidays and house moves.
