High calibre corporate lawyers with hands on experience of private equity transactions sought by the London office of Magic Circle firm.

Our client’s private equity lawyers work on a broad mix of transactions for private equity and other financial sponsor clients, including public and private M&A, carve-outs, buy-outs, joint venture, consortium deals, minority/structured investments and reorganisations. Most of the work has an international dimension and will range from some of the largest and most complex transactions to smaller deals which provide an opportunity for associates to take greater responsibility.

Encouraging a broad spread of work there is an opportunity to specialise and join a number of skills and sector groups, including Consumer and Healthcare; Energy, Resources and Infrastructure; Financial Institutions; Financial Sponsors; Industrials; Real Estate; Telecommunications, Media and Technology and many others.

• Corporate and private equity experience from a leading firm involving cross-border transactions
• Strong technical and commercial abilities
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and supervise more junior lawyers
• Highly effective communicator (both orally and in writing)
• Ability to take on a high degree of responsibility and manage a challenging workload
• Committed to providing an excellent service to our clients
• Proactive involvement in business development and knowledge management
