Litigation Funding – New Venture

We are under instruction from an alternative investment firm based in London that provides opportunistic and flexible private capital to Western European businesses and asset-based opportunities. The Firm currently has circa €500m under management.

Our client has recently created a litigation fund and are keen to speak with either an established litigation funder or practicing litigator from a recognised disputes practice, to take on the position of underwriter for this new venture.

Working in co-ordination with a boutique law firm that focuses on class-action litigation, antitrust and alternative dispute resolution against some of the world’s largest multinational corporations across sectors such as automotive, pharma, data protection and environment, the successful candidate will assess cases / price the risk on behalf of the fund, advising accordingly on the merits of the case and appropriate funding.

This opportunity would suit an individual that is both an experienced litigator (5yrs pqe+) with commercial skill set, who is looking for a new and exciting challenge within a fund that has big plans for the future. A strong communicator with a keen eye for detail, you will take a key position within this new venture, working closely with the senior management to drive the fund forward. Offering an attractive financial package there is a clear opportunity to take a front row seat in what has the potential to be a genuine player within the litigation funding market.
