In-house Residential Conveyancer

Do you want to join a very rapidly expanding business which operates in the residential property sector?

You could be one of the first in-house residential conveyancers in a brand-new property function within the Group.

The successful candidate will have an interest in technology and around 3 years' experience, ideally with a broad range of property, both freehold and leasehold. You will need to be confident in handling a demanding caseload with minimal supervision, from start to completion. The big difference here is that you will only be dealing with acquisitions and your instructions will come from internal staff, rather than external clients. The property acquisitions are cash purchases, so you won't have to deal with lenders either. You will leave behind the traditional model of chargeable hours and billing targets generally found in private practice, and instead be able to focus on delivering outstanding results in an environment where commercial awareness and efficiency is key.

You will be joining a newly recruited Head of Legal with a background in both private practice and in-house commercial and residential property transactions. A paralegal / legal assistant is also being recruited, who will deal with post-completion matters and general administrative support. This is your opportunity to demonstrate that you are motivated and proactive and would be willing and able to help shape the department.
