Market leading offshore law firm seeks dynamic, ambitious lawyer to join their expanding regional funds group based in Hong Kong. The role would primarily involve advising international and regional clients on the structuring and launch of Cayman and BVI funds and advising on a wide variety of issues arising over their life cycle.
The ideal candidate should be qualified in a Commonwealth jurisdiction (such as England & Wales, Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand) or Hong Kong, and have 5 years+ PQE. Experience to date will have been developed within a rated corporate/commercial law firm and while some funds experience would be an advantage, it is not a pre-requisite for the role as full training would be provided (so corporate lawyers looking to transition into funds are welcome to apply). There are no Chinese language skills required (though advantageous).
Academically strong, applicants should be hard working and have outstanding legal and technical skills. The ability to communicate effectively as part of a dynamic team environment essential.
In return for your efforts and commitment, you will be rewarded with a very competitive financial package while supported actively in your career progression and professional development.
Those interested in this and other funds roles we are working on across international markets should send their CV in confidence to James O’Brien / james@agnewobrien.com or apply via this website.
