Commercial Lawyer 6- 12 months Home based

Arbuthnot Yon are working with a listed business seeking to appoint a Commercial Lawyer for a period of 6 12 months.  This role can be remotely based, and you have the option to join on a fixed term contract or via an umbrella company.   

This opportunity has arisen to cover a maternity leave in the legal team and the key focus of this role will involve advising on, drafting and negotiating a range of commercial contracts from procurement to customer facing supply and out-sourcing agreements.   You will also get involved in wider a range of legal issues including intellectual property, information technology, competition law, data privacy, insurance and employment (TUPE) areas. 

We are keen to hear from commercial lawyers with at least 5 years commercial contract experience as well as more experienced lawyers.  Although remotely based you will be joining a large established legal team and you will have lots of interaction with the legal team and wider business.   The ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, including the commercial teams and senior stakeholders is a must.

We are looking for someone to start around mid June to early July.  You will have the option to work in the office in the West Midlands HQ or remotely from home.
