Solicitor/Barrister - Partner - Intellectual Property - US firm - Central London

IP PARTNER – US FIRM – CENTRAL. LONDON

Our Client, a US firm with significant presence in Central London, is looking to add to its ranks with the appointment of an IP Partner.

THE FIRM

With several offices spread throughout the US, UK and Ireland, our client has experienced significant growth over the past few years, continuing throughout 2020 and 2021. They offer a full legal service, including; intellectual property; commercial disputes; large corporate transactions; real estate; and insolvency & restructuring.

THE TEAM

The IP Team cover the full range of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property, advising clients of all sizes, from individuals and start-ups seeking advice on how to protect new brands and ideas, to FTSE listed companies and major multinationals involved in complex transactions and major litigation.

Their lawyers have extensive experience of handling litigation at all levels of the UK courts, as well as managing multi-jurisdiction disputes and where necessary working with IP practitioners globally. 

Areas of expertise include; strategic brand protection and portfolio management; IP focused commercial agreements; confidential information and non-disclosure agreements; design rights, copyright and trade mark infringements; corporate and individual reputation management; and interim injunctive relief.

THE INDIVIDUAL

We are now looking for an experienced IP lawyer to head and take the team forward.

Extensive experience in IP law as outlined above in transactional matters is a prerequisite, along with experience of supervising individuals and managing teams. As this is a senior position within the firm, you will also have a strong network of contacts and a proven track record of being a good business developer, winning work and maintaining long lasting client relationship.
