Ready for your next career jump? Keep reading. QC Legal has an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Power and Renewables Associate to join an ever-growing team at a top ranked firm. 

The Role

  • You will be expected to advise on a wide range of technologies including but not limited to solar, electric vehicles nuclear, offshore and onshore wind and carbon capture.
  • You will be joining one of the most innovative firms for the sector and will be expected to contribute to the shaping of the sector’s present and future.
  • Essentially the role centres on commercial, regulatory and projects work and supporting on financing transactions and M&A. 
  • You will be working with over 100 partners worldwide – surrounded by the best!

The Person – You?

  • You will have 3-7 previous years’ experience in either a private practice and/or in-house within the UK. 
  • You will have strong academics, achieving a minimum 2:1 at Undergraduate level.
  • You will have a future facing mindset and be committed to business and professional development. 
  • Additionally, you will be committed to becoming a sector expert, ready to advise anyone that comes your way!
  • You will have experience drafting and negotiating commercial or project agreements in the sector.
