Senior Legal Counsel with Remote working (occasional day in Midlands office)

Our client is a seriously impressive player in the technology sector across a number of sectors.  They are now looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join their legal team to take a leading role in advising the business and work very closely with the CFO and other Senior Managers.

This role will suit an experienced In-house legal counsel or Senior/Managing Associate from private practice who is likely to have 6+ PQE.

An incredibly interesting role where you will have a broad diet of international corporate, compliance and regulatory work as well as managing some of the panel of external heavyweight law firms on huge litigation / disputes.

Whilst in house experience is much preferred, there is the possibility for the right individual to join from private practice (perhaps a regulatory / environmental / litigation lawyer who has experience of managing complex and high value claims OR a transactional lawyer.

The legal team has a very flat structure and is relatively small for the size of business, with access to a panel of top calibre firms.

There is a team of more generalist commercial lawyers but this is a critical hire and the expectation is of someone at a relatively experienced level who has the ability to cut through the legal issues impacting the business internationally and provide commercial advice on a range of matters.

For those wishing to work in the office, there are great offices in the West Midlands. There is no expectation to be based in that region, however, as the role can be mostly remote working. This is a busy, full time role, however, four days may be considered for an exceptional candidate.

A solid salary and benefits package is on offer.
