Our client is a sought after multinational technology employer. Due to the continuous business growth and internal promotions this industry-leading global organisation is looking to hire a talented technology lawyer to look after the commercial legal matters across the Middle East.

The role can be based anywhere in the UK or the UAE (with a preference to UK based candidates). In the future there will be some travel to the Middle East.

You will work with some of the brightest legal professionals in the sector - 90% have top international law firms background. There is great camaraderie, the team are friendly and helpful.

This is an autonomous role reporting to Legal Director for Emerging Markets. You will take responsibility for wide and varied range of commercial legal issues including strategic accounts; negotiating and drafting all forms of  commercial and technology agreements (software, services (including outsourcing arrangements), supplier, vendor, consultancy, technology licensing and development agreements) and provide support on data protection and IP issues.

Requirements

  • 6-12 years of experience in-house or in private practice as a commercial lawyer
  • + either tech / outsourcing agreements experience or exposure to the Middle East as part of your previous role
