We are under instruction from a leading disputes practice in the BVI who are looking to attract high calibre litigators to their busy team. Offering a rich diet of interesting work, spanning complex international insolvencies, restructurings and security enforcement matters, recent work handled includes complex multi-jurisdiction fraud recovery, asset-tracing and shareholder disputes including asset freezing injunctions, disclosure and search orders as well as contentious and non-contentious corporate liquidations, bankruptcies, receiverships, restructurings, reorganisations and related litigation matters.
Our clients BVI team is small and would suit those candidates that are willing to take on responsibility for matters and who welcome autonomy, dealing directly with clients and onshore counsel, while taking an active position in business development and marketing activities. Technically strong with superior communication skills, you will also possess a forensic eye for detail and the ability to get to drips with complexities quickly and efficiently.
To be considered, applicants will be England & Wales qualified barristers / solicitors with 2-8yrs pqe gained within a leading international law firm or chancery/commercial chambers and be looking to make a career defining move to the British Virgin Islands.
