THE ROLE
A fantastic opportunity for a professional, interested individual to join the London based Compliance team on a FTC basis for 12 months.
You will be joining a team which regularly networks with regulators, representative bodies and peers.
This is a chance to become an expert in the regulation of law firms, learning from some of the leading compliance pioneers in London.
A qualified lawyer with 2pqe+ your role will be inter alia, to maintain expertise in SRA/other relevant regulation affecting the firm's business, forming contacts and networking with regulators, representative bodies and peers in other law firms as appropriate.
Additionally you will help partners and fee earners to review clients' terms and conditions of business and to draft engagement letters.
You will also be dealing with everyday queries from fee earners/Business Services staff on all core compliance topics
ABOUT YOU
With 2pqe+ within a compliance function and a strong academic record, you will be looking to learn and understand how a law firm is managed.
You will be able to build trusted relationships with the key stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally and have the ability to pick up new legal concepts quickly.
